Grantville Police Officer Dies of Apparent Heart Attack

The Grantville Police Department has announced the sudden death of Corporal Kevin Enfinger. Enfinger, while heading home from patrolling the city, suffered what appears to be a heart attack at approximately 5:30 PM. He was found in the median, and a passerby initiated CPR. Despite these efforts, Enfinger did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead at Newnan Piedmont Hospital.

Corporal Enfinger had been with the Grantville Police Department for around four years. He served as a field training officer and was responsible for overseeing the department’s vehicles. The department expressed deep sadness over the loss and thanked friends and community members for their support.

Enfinger is survived by his wife, brother, and father. Arrangements for his services will be announced when available.
