Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Suspect in Jay’s Hope Foundation Burglary

Investigators and deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office have made an arrest in connection with the burglary of the Jay’s Hope Foundation located on Forsyth Street. The suspect was taken into custody at a nearby restaurant where he had stored a suitcase containing items belonging to the nonprofit organization.

Inside the suitcase, authorities discovered donated gift cards and checks intended for Jay’s Hope. These items will be returned to the foundation. The burglary remains under investigation as officials work to uncover additional details.
