Human Remains Found in Monroe County Believed to Be Missing Woman From Macon

In a significant development in the missing person investigation, human remains were discovered today by a construction crew in a wooded area in Monroe County. The remains are currently believed to be those of Gabriella Dixon, who was reported missing on October 31, 2023 in Macon, Georgia. The remains have been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for positive identification.

In connection with the investigation, authorities have arrested a person of interest at a residence in Monroe County. The arrest took place during the execution of an arrest warrant. The individual, 19-year-old Jatarvius Deangelo Price, was initially arrested on November 17, 2023, on charges of Making False Statements and Tampering with Evidence. He was released on bond the following day. On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, Price was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

Additionally, warrants were served at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for Reginald Harris, who is also charged with the murder of Dixon. Harris is the father of Dixon’s children.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.
