Atlanta Father Arrested in 2004 Child Homicide Cold Case
Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit have obtained murder and cruelty to children arrest warrants for 40-year-old Christopher Houston, Sr., in connection with the 2004 homicide of his 3-year-old son, Christopher Houston, Jr.
Incident Details:
On April 29, 2004, at approximately 7:43 PM, officers responded to 700 Neal Street SW in reference to an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, officers located 3-year-old Christopher Houston, Jr., who was not alert, conscious, or breathing. Christopher was transported to the hospital for treatment, where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel. Investigators were notified of the incident and determined that foul play was involved.
