Bibb County Man Charged with Tampering After Stealing and Destroying Narcotics Evidence
Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) arrested a male suspect on charges of tampering with evidence. The incident occurred on Rice Mill Road when deputies, involved in a foot chase with another individual, witnessed a container of narcotics fall to the ground.
The suspect in the photo attached to this article, not involved in the initial chase, retrieved the container, refused to return it to deputies, and threw it into traffic where it was subsequently run over by a vehicle.
The suspect, who was armed with several knives, was apprehended after a tense confrontation with deputies. He now faces multiple charges related to the incident.
