Two People Shot From Vehicle in Oakland City Area
On Saturday, July 20th, at approximately 11:16 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers responded to a report of a shooting at 1335 Dorsey St. SW in the Oakland City area. Upon arrival, officers found a 40-year-old female with a gunshot wound and a 67-year-old male with a possible graze injury. The female victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance, while the male victim did not require medical treatment or transport.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the victims were standing in front of the residence when an unknown suspect in a moving vehicle fired multiple gunshots in their direction.
The Aggravated Assault Unit is investigating the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
