Decatur Hit by Spree of Commercial Burglaries

Early Monday morning, June10th, Decatur Police were called to the 600 block of East Lake Drive following reports of a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers found multiple businesses had been targeted. Similar incidents were discovered on Mead Road, West College Avenue, and East College Avenue, totaling nine commercial burglaries.

The perpetrators reportedly broke through glass doors and windows, focusing their attention on cash registers. Initial investigations indicate that three suspects, traveling in a black sedan, may be involved.
