Two Shot in West Atlanta Drug Deal Gone Bad
On Sunday, June 9, 2024, at around 2:00 a.m., Atlanta Police Officers responded to Grady Hospital on males who arrived at the location via private vehicles with gunshot wounds. Both were alive and receiving medical treatment. Both males stated the incident took place was at 37 Lynhurst Dr SW in West Atlanta.
According to preliminary investigations, the victims were involved in an illegal narcotic sale with a third male, leading to a physical altercation and subsequent shooting. The suspect remains at large as investigations continue.
