Three Juveniles Detained in Stolen Vehicle, Guns Recovered

On June 6, 2024, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Unit deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a senior citizen on Clinton Road.

Upon investigation, deputies located the stolen Kia Soul on Lily Avenue. Inside the vehicle were three juveniles who appeared to be asleep.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies found a backpack containing several firearms, including a stolen handgun. Further examination revealed additional firearms within the Kia. The deputies took the juveniles into custody and confiscated the weapons.
