Armed Robbery at Corner Grocery in Macon Under Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that occurred at 10:59 a.m. on Wednesday at the Corner Grocery, located at 2057 Walnut Street.
According to reports, a masked male suspect entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the store clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot, heading west on Walnut Street. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a slender black male, approximately five foot eleven to six foot one. He was wearing a red ski mask, desert storm camouflage coveralls, and black shoes.
