Dodge County School Board Chairman Arrested for Molesting Foster Child

The GBI has arrested and charged Elvis Davis, age 57, of Eastman, GA, with one count of sexual exploitation of children, two counts of child molestation and two counts of improper sexual contact by a foster parent.

On Friday, May 16, 2024, the Eastman Police Department asked the GBI to assist with an investigation into allegations of child molestation involving Davis.

Davis is Chairman of the Dodge County School Board and a former educator and principal at a middle school.

Davis was booked into the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.

This investigation is active and ongoing. Once the investigation is complete, the case file will be given to the Dodge County DA’s Office in the Oconee Judicial Circuit for prosecution.
