Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies aided in the arrest of a 16-year-old who led Peach County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a high-speed chase, possibly in a stolen vehicle.
The pursuit, with speeds exceeding 100 mph, crossed into Macon-Bibb County. A Peach County deputy narrowly avoided being struck as they tried to deploy spike strips. Additionally, a Byron Police Department K-9 unit was hit.
