Woman Confesses to Murder of Boyfriend After Officers Stop Vehicle in DeKalb County

The Community-based Connect DeKalb System aided in the capture of a silver Chrysler 200 used by a homicide suspect on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

After receiving an alert on the vehicle, DeKalb County Police officers responded to the area. They were able to locate the vehicle and observed it travelling down Panola Road. The suspect vehicle stopped near the 1900 block of Marbut Forest Drive in Lithonia. Officers approached the vehicle and encountered a woman driving, taking her into custody. The female suspect confessed to the May 22nd murder of her boyfriend on South Deshon Road.
