Bibb County Deputies Foil Potential Harm to Former Girlfriend, Arrest Suspect

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) deputies successfully intercepted a suspect thanks to Flock camera surveillance, preventing a potential threat to his former girlfriend. The deputies acted on information indicating the suspect’s intent to harm the victim, who had been subjected to stalking and threats at her workplace, as well as a previous break-in at her residence earlier in the day.

Utilizing Flock cameras, deputies tracked the suspect’s movements as he approached the victim’s residence. They apprehended him during a traffic stop on Riverside Drive, taking him into custody without incident.

The suspect now faces multiple charges, including Burglary in the First Degree, Terroristic Threats and Acts, Battery, Harassing Phone Calls, Stalking, and Willful Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officers.
