Suspect Leaps Out of Moving Vehicle After High-Speed Chase

A recent traffic stop by a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputy turned into a high-speed chase when the driver of a Honda Accord refused to pull over. The incident occurred at the intersection of Suwannee Avenue and Pio Nono Avenue.

Instead of complying with the deputy’s instructions to stop, the driver of the Accord accelerated, disregarding four stop signs along the way. In a dramatic turn of events, the driver leaped out of the moving vehicle in an attempt to escape on foot. However, law enforcement officers swiftly apprehended him.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies discovered narcotics concealed within the driver-side door. The suspect was then transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center without further resistance.
