Milton Police Investigating Home Invasion and Vehicle Theft

Milton Police are currently investigating a home invasion that occurred on Monday, May 20th, at a residence on Highgrove Club Drive in central Milton. The incident, which took place around noon, involved a single suspect who stole a vehicle from the property before fleeing the scene.

Authorities were alerted to the ongoing home invasion and theft, prompting a swift response to apprehend the perpetrator. The stolen vehicle was later discovered abandoned near North Point Parkway by Alpharetta Police. The suspect had fled on foot towards the Big Creek Greenway, prompting a focused search of the natural area.

As a precautionary measure, nearby schools were briefly locked down during the manhunt. However, Alpharetta Police lifted the lockdown later in the afternoon, assuring the public that there was no imminent danger to citizens.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, which have been shared by authorities in hopes of gathering information from the public.
