Atlanta Police Arrest 17-Year-Old in Connection with Marietta Street Shooting

Atlanta Police Department’s Fugitive Unit arrested 17-year-old Jalin Hammons on May 15th, 2024, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on April 2nd, 2024, at 935 Marietta Street NW. Hammons faces charges of Aggravated Assault (X2) and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

The victim, a male with multiple gunshot wounds, was found by officers at the location’s pool area around 11:45 pm on April 2nd. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Hammons was taken into custody and transported to Fulton County Jail for processing. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
