South Atlanta Shooting: Woman Injured by Gunfire from Outside Residence
On May 7th, 2024, around 10:49PM, Atlanta Police officers rushed to 177 Moury Avenue SW in South Atlanta following reports of a shooting. They found a female victim with a gunshot wound to her left leg.
Despite her injury, she was conscious and breathing. The officers transported her to the hospital for medical care.
Initial findings suggest that the gunfire came from outside while the victim was inside a residence.
Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit are working to uncover more details about the incident. As of now, the investigation remains ongoing.
