Dual Shooting Incidents On Marietta St in Atlanta Leave One Dead, Another Critical

On the early morning of May 6, 2024, Atlanta Police officers responded to a distress call at 964 Marietta St NW, where a male was reported to have been shot. Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound in critical condition. Grady EMS arrived and transported the injured individual for urgent medical care.
While conducting their investigation, officers proceeded to check the nearby apartment complex at 935 Marietta St NW. There, they found another male in the breezeway, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention from Grady EMS, the second victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
