Troup County Burglary Suspect Apprehended: Stolen Truck Recovered in Florida

Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary report at Torrance Construction on April 8th. The incident at 3472 Hogansville Rd. involved the theft of keys, a Ford F-150 truck, and an undisclosed sum of cash. Authorities identified a suspect as Billy Ray Anthony Saunders, aged 38.

Saunders was apprehended on April 22nd in Manatee County, FL, facing charges of Felony Theft by Taking and Burglary. He remains in custody in Manatee County Jail. Law enforcement in Manatee County also recovered the stolen truck from a Home Depot parking lot within their jurisdiction.
