Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Apprehends Two Wanted Individuals for Violent Offenses
Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit successfully apprehended two individuals wanted for violent offenses in separate operations.
On January 19, at around 8:30 a.m., Eli Cummings was found and apprehended in Buford, Georgia, during surveillance at his residence. Cummings faced charges of Sexual Battery, Aggravated Assault, and Cruelty to Children in the 3rd Degree. The arrest was made without incident by the Fugitive Unit, with support from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit. Cummings was processed at the Gwinnett County Jail.
Simultaneously, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on the same day, Jared Thomas Saylors was apprehended in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Saylors, wanted for Aggravated Child Molestation, was arrested by the Fugitive Unit, Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, and the Lawrenceville Police Department. The arrest occurred without any issues, and Saylors was processed at the Gwinnett County Jail.
