Two Teens Injured in Shooting Incident at Warner Robins Business

On April 16, 2024, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Warner Robins Police Department received reports of shots fired at a local business.

Upon arrival at around 4:48 p.m., officers found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper leg, side, and chest on the north side of the business. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were immediately dispatched, and officers provided aid until their arrival. A second victim, believed to be around 18 years old, was located in the 100 Block of Oak Grove Rd. This victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

According to witnesses, the perpetrators were seen fleeing down Driftwood Terr. The 15-year-old victim was transported to Houston Healthcare Watson Campus, while the other victim was taken to Navicent-Atrium for treatment.

Preliminary investigations suggest that an altercation inside the business preceded the shooting. The names of the victims are being withheld due to their ages and pending family notifications.

UPDATE: Upon review of security video, the incident was between both victims with bystanders present in the business. Outside the business, both victims mutually engaged in gunfire with each other. The 15-year-old transported to Houston Healthcare Watson Campus succumbed to his wounds. The incident is now being investigated as a Homicide and an Aggravated Assault.
