Motorcycle Chase Ends in Arrest After K9 Maverick Tracks Suspect in Forsyth County

Forsyth County Deputy Cooper attempted to stop a motorcycle last Friday, April 12th, for a missing license plate. The motorcyclist tried to escape into a new construction neighborhood but crashed shortly afterward. After a chase and losing sight of the suspect, Deputy Cooper secured the area and alerted backup deputies.

Corporal Escolano and K9 Maverick arrived, and Maverick quickly located the suspect near the woods. Deputies apprehended the suspect after he refused to surrender, discovering illegal drugs and a weapon in his possession.
