Traffic Stop in Macon Leads to Arrest of Driver with Narcotics and Firearm

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) deputies conducted a traffic stop on Robinhood Road in Macon involving a Chevrolet Tahoe.

During the stop, the deputy observed the driver tossing two bags out of the passenger window. The deputies retrieved the bags containing narcotics and discovered a handgun inside the Tahoe.

Further investigation revealed that the driver had a suspended license, suspended registration, and no insurance. Consequently, the driver was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
