Atlanta Police Apprehend Suspect in Stabbing Incident on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway
In the early hours of April 12th, 2024, Atlanta police responded to a distress call reporting a stabbing at 2176 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim with multiple stab wounds. He was conscious and alert, and medical responders transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had been involved in a dispute with a male assailant, who was later identified as 37-year-old Khalid Abdul Kareem. The victim, despite his injuries, provided crucial information about Kareem’s identity and possible whereabouts to the officers.
Following the victim’s lead, Officers conducted a search of the area and successfully located Kareem in his apartment. Without incident, Kareem was taken into police custody and charged with Aggravated Assault. Additionally, it was discovered that Kareem had an active warrant issued by Fulton County, leading to his transportation to Fulton County Jail.
