Woman Shot in Mechanicsville Area, Atlanta Police Investigating
On April 10, 2024, at around 9:19 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers were dispatched to 404 Cooper St SW in the Mechanicsville area following a report of a shooting.
They found an adult female victim with a gunshot wound upon arrival. She was immediately taken to the hospital in critical condition by ambulance.
Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit arrived on-scene to ascertain the details of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
