Stolen Vehicle Pursuit in Macon Ends in Crash, Teen Suspect Apprehended
Bibb County Sheriff Deputies located a stolen vehicle on Thursday, April 4, 2024, leading to a pursuit when the driver refused to stop.
The chase ended on Napier Ave in Macon, where the vehicle crashed into a sign and electric pole in the 4000 block, in front of the Macon Bibb County Fire Station 3.
The suspect, identified as a 15-year-old juvenile, attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended after a brief chase by responding deputies.
The teenager was also wanted on five counts of aggravated assault.
