Fatal Shooting in Northwest Atlanta Leaves One Dead, Another Injured
On April 4, 2024, at around 3:56 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 1 officers rushed to 411 Westchester Blvd. NW in northwest Atlanta following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical responders. Another adult male with a graze wound was also found nearby and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He was reported to be alert, conscious, and breathing.
The Homicide Unit investigators were called to the scene to unravel the circumstances behind the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
