Atlanta Security Guard Shot During Altercation with Unruly Group, Suspects Flee the Scene

On March 28, 2024, at approximately 11:35 pm, Atlanta police officers were dispatched to 488 Flat Shoals Ave following reports of a shooting incident. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, who was identified as a security guard working at the location, was conscious and breathing. He was promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Initial findings from the investigation suggest that the security guard had intervened with a group of individuals who were causing disturbance at the establishment.
