Preston Man Arrested in Connection with Deaths of Two Young Children

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has made an arrest in connection with a tragic incident involving the death of two young children. Adan Tzoyohua Panzo, aged 36, from Preston, GA, faces charges of felony murder, malice murder, and arson following an investigation initiated by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office.

On Saturday, March 30, 2024, authorities responded to a distress call reporting a vehicle ablaze at a residence on Millard Kennedy Road in Preston, Webster County. Upon extinguishing the fire, responders made a grim discovery—two children, aged 1 and 3, were found deceased inside the vehicle. Subsequent inquiries led to the apprehension of Panzo, amid allegations that he ignited the vehicle during a domestic dispute with his spouse.

Panzo has been placed in custody at the Webster County Jail pending further legal proceedings.

The investigation remains active, with the involvement of GBI agents, the State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, as authorities work to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
