Gwinnett Police Task Force Nabs Suspect in Burglary Attempt

Gwinnett Police Crime Suppression Task Force successfully apprehended a suspect in a burglary attempt on March 21 at approximately 3:30 a.m.

Responding to a business alarm at 6111 Live Oak Parkway in Norcross, officers discovered a broken window with the suspect still inside the premises attempting to flee.

Despite commands to surrender, the suspect evaded capture by retreating further into the building. With the assistance of uniformed officers and a K9 unit, law enforcement conducted a thorough search of the premises. Their search led them to a locked conference room where the suspect was found hiding.

Oscar Dominguez Sanchez, aged 45 and a resident of Norcross, was arrested and charged with Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Damage to Property, and Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer.
