Atlanta Man Arrested for Forgery and Fraud Charges After Public Appeal
Paul Berloni, aged 61 and residing in Atlanta, has been identified as the suspect involved in a forgery and fraud case on February 23 at a bank on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.
Following identification, Berloni was apprehended and taken into custody on March 11. He has since been booked into the Gwinnett County Jail and is currently facing a total of 13 charges, including Identity Fraud, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Forgery in the 3rd Degree.
Authorities had sought the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect prior to Berloni’s arrest. The appeal was made through a statement which read: “Do you know this person? We are seeking his identity in reference to a forgery and fraud case on February 23 at a bank on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners.” Individuals with information were urged to contact Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404.577.8477, citing Case No. 24-014015.
