Two Teens and a Bystander Injured in Atlanta Shooting
On March 9th, 2024, at around 6:11 PM, officers rushed to 240 Peachtree Street NE following reports of multiple individuals shot. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a 15-year-old male with an apparent gunshot wound to his left ankle and a 16-year-old male with apparent gunshot wounds to his right arm and right ankle. Both victims remained conscious and were transported to the hospital for immediate medical attention.
Additionally, a 38-year-old female, identified as an innocent bystander, was found with an apparent gunshot wound to her left leg. She, too, was alert and transported to the hospital for treatment.
Atlanta Police Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit have been deployed to the scene to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
