Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Issues Missing Person Alert for Augusta Man

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing person alert for 62-year-old Gerald Scott Weathers. Weathers was last seen on February 27, 2024, on the 2100 block of Ellis Street in Augusta, GA. He sent a text message at approximately 1:00 am on February 28th stating that he would be home shortly. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Weathers is described as 5’11” tall, 145 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the stores around the 2000 block of Broad Street and the Rack & Grill on Riverwatch Parkway and Commerce Drive.
