Wanted Man Arrested by Bibb County Deputies, Recover Stolen Firearm and Drugs After Chase

On Saturday, March 2, 2024, deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit successfully apprehended a wanted individual on Newberg Avenue following a foot chase through Pendleton Homes. The suspect, who was wanted on warrants, was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

During the pursuit, deputies recovered a stolen Glock firearm and packaged narcotics in the Houston Avenue neighborhood. The recovered evidence was subsequently entered into the Crime Lab for further analysis.
