Collaboration Leads to Arrest in Jonesboro Shooting Case

A shooting incident took place in the City of Jonesboro on Friday, February 16th, around noon. Jonesboro Chief Cato, Clayton County Chief Roberts, and Sheriff Levon Allen promptly dispatched units to locate the shooting suspect, 22-year-old Contrez Tanaz Prince. Prince was apprehended at the Hunters Ridge mobile home park and handed over to Jonesboro Police.

Sheriff Allen emphasized the strength of collaboration among Clayton County law enforcement, stating, “Clayton County Law Enforcement working together is stronger than it’s ever been in the past.”
