Police Investigate Shooting on Pine St. NE: Victim Hospitalized, Suspect Detained
On February 23, 2024, at around 6:56 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 5 officers rushed to 140 Pine St. NE following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found a 40-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
At the scene, officers detained a potential suspect.
Early investigations suggest that an argument between the victim and the suspect turned violent. The Aggravated Assault Unit is now investigating the incident further.
