Carjacking Incident Leads to Arrest of Three Suspects in Atlanta

On the evening of February 21st, 2024, Atlanta Police officers responded to a carjacking incident at 778 Magnolia Way NW. According to the report, two armed male suspects approached a male victim, demanding the keys to his vehicle. The victim was then forced into the rear of his vehicle, which was subsequently driven to 1046 Fayetteville Rd, where another male suspect joined the perpetrators.

Police units mobilized quickly, flooding the area with a description of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was spotted near the apartment complex located at 60 Paschal Blvd. Despite officers’ attempts to stop the vehicle, the suspects evaded them, leading to a pursuit.

An investigator with the APD A.C.E. unit initiated the pursuit with supervisor approval, considering the circumstances. During the attempted escape, the suspect vehicle collided with a civilian vehicle at an intersection.

Officers managed to apprehend all three suspects with the assistance of emergency medical services. The suspects, identified as a juvenile male, Kentavious Allen, and Jeremiah Boyce, were transported to Grady Detention with injuries sustained from the collision. Fortunately, the civilian struck in the incident only sustained minor injuries.

The suspects are facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping, and Hijacking a Motor Vehicle. Additionally, Kentavious Allen, who had an outstanding warrant in Fulton County for Dangerous Drugs, faces an additional charge related to that offense.
