Manhunt Underway: 19-year-old Suspect in Aggravated Assault at Family Dollar is Wanted

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating a suspect involved in an Aggravated Assault incident. The incident occurred on February 17, 2024, at the Family Dollar located at 3567 Houston Avenue.

Authorities have identified the suspect as 19-year-old Daveion Hopkins from Macon. Hopkins is wanted in connection with the shooting of a female victim in the store’s parking lot. A warrant has been issued for Hopkins for Aggravated Assault.
