3-Year-Old Injured in Atlanta Shooting Incident: Police Investigate

On February 19, 2024, around 5:39 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers were dispatched to 1371 Kimberly Way SW following a report of a child shot. Upon arrival, officers found a 3-year-old with a gunshot wound. The child was conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the child was outside when gunfire erupted in the vicinity, resulting in the injury. The Atlanta Police Aggravated Assault Unit has been deployed to the scene to ascertain the details surrounding the incident.
