Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Critical Pedestrian Collision on Arkwright Road

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a pedestrian traffic collision that occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on Arkwright Road near River Place Drive.

Preliminary reports indicate that a 45-year-old male pedestrian was crossing Arkwright Road in the vicinity of River Place Drive. At that time, a Honda Civic, driven by a 25-year-old male, was traveling East on Arkwright Road and collided with the pedestrian.

Emergency services were called to the scene, and the injured pedestrian was transported to Atrium Health. Currently, he is listed in critical condition. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
