Man Arrested on Murder and Firearm Charges After Fatal Shooting in Atlanta

On July 26, 2024, 34-year-old Antonio Dean was apprehended by Atlanta Police and faces multiple charges including Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

The arrest follows an incident on July 25, 2024, at approximately 2:17 a.m. Officers were dispatched to 639 Morosgo Drive NE in response to reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, they discovered an unresponsive male with gunshot wounds. The victim was declared deceased by Grady EMS. Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting resulted from a dispute between the victim and a security guard at the scene.
