Drive-by Shooting Leaves Man Injured Outside Apartment on Lindsay Street

On Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, at around 9:58 pm, Atlanta officers were dispatched to 512 Lindsay Street NW following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left leg. Despite his injury, the man remained conscious. He was taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Initial findings suggest that the man was outdoors when he was hit by gunfire originating from a moving vehicle. The Aggravated Assault Unit has taken charge of the investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As of now, the investigation remains ongoing, with authorities working to gather more information about the shooting.
