Woman Found With Gunshot Wounds, Columbus Police Seek Witnesses Traveling on I-185 on April 20th

Columbus Police responded to a shooting incident on April 20, 2024, on Warm Springs Road near E. Lindsey Drive.

A black Nissan Altima was found with a female victim inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to Piedmont Medical Center for treatment.

The Violent Crimes Unit took over the investigation, with Cpl. Charles Alexander leading.

Witnesses reported the shooting might have originated on I-185 Northbound near the Manchester Expressway exit.

Authorities are seeking witnesses who were on the interstate on April 20, 2024, traveling northbound on I-185.
