Armed Robbery at Market Place Prompts Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at Market Place, situated at 2006 Vineville Avenue, just before 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

According to reports, two masked male individuals entered the store. One of the suspects, armed with a firearm, demanded money from the store clerks. Following the demand, the suspects absconded with an unspecified sum of money on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Both suspects are identified as males. One was dressed entirely in dark clothing with a mask, while the second wore a white hoodie, dark pants, white sneakers, and a mask.
