MACON, Ga. – Two teenagers, ages 14 and 16, were arrested Tuesday morning, October 20, 2026, in connection with an armed robbery and aggravated assault involving a Facebook Marketplace transaction in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrests bring the number of suspects taken into custody in connection with the investigation to four, following the earlier arrests of two 19-year-old men.

The teenagers were both charged as adults with armed robbery, aggravated assault and violations of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism Act. They were identified as Bryson Dewayne Anderson, 14, and Dekembe Deilouse Anderson Jr, 16.

Victim Beaten With Firearm During Facebook Marketplace Transaction

The robbery occurred on October 6, 2026, at approximately 9:06 p.m. in the 200 block of Wayside Drive in Macon.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a male victim told deputies he had arranged to meet someone for a transaction through Facebook Marketplace.

During the meeting, the victim was allegedly confronted by multiple suspects who struck him several times with a firearm.

The suspects then robbed him at gunpoint, taking an undisclosed amount of cash and his cellphone.

The sheriff’s office did not disclose what item the victim had arranged to buy or sell, or provide additional details about his injuries.

Deputies Arrest Two Juvenile Suspects on October 20

On Tuesday, October 20, at approximately 10:30 a.m., investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division located and arrested the two teenagers.

Both had been identified as suspects wanted in connection with the October 6 armed robbery and aggravated assault.

The sheriff’s office reported that both arrests were made without incident.

Investigators transported the teenagers to the Criminal Investigation Division before taking them to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for processing.

Both were fingerprinted and subsequently transported to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center.

Despite their ages, the teenagers are being charged as adults.

Each faces the following charges:

  • Armed robbery
  • Aggravated assault
  • Violation of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism Act

Two 19-Year-Old Suspects Previously Arrested

The latest arrests follow the earlier arrests of Navon Sams and Kenneth Tyrell Watkins, both 19, in connection with investigations involving armed robberies and aggravated assaults in Bibb County.

The Central Georgian previously reported on those arrests as investigators examined multiple incidents reported between September 28 and October 12, 2026.

The cases included robberies involving Facebook Marketplace transactions, where victims arranged to meet individuals to exchange merchandise or money.

The October 20 announcement identifies the two teenagers as additional suspects in the October 6 Wayside Drive incident.

The sheriff’s office has not detailed the specific role each of the four suspects allegedly played in the robbery or explained whether all four are implicated in every incident under investigation.

Investigation Remains Active; Additional Charges Possible

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said its Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the armed robbery and aggravated assault cases.

Authorities indicated that additional charges may be filed as the investigations progress.

The Georgia Street Gang Terrorism Act charges are allegations and do not, by themselves, establish that the suspects are members of a criminal street gang.
