Bibb County Deputies Seek Suspect in North Macon Park Concession Stand Theft

MACON, Ga. – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of breaking into a concession stand and stealing merchandise from North Macon Park.

The theft occurred at approximately 10:24 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at North Macon Park, 815 N. Macon Park Drive.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a man entered a concession stand while the park was closed and took merchandise. He then fled the concession stand on foot.

Authorities did not disclose what was stolen or provide an estimated value of the missing merchandise.

The suspect was described as a Black man wearing a black short-sleeve hooded T-shirt, dark-colored pants and sneakers.

Investigators released surveillance photographs of the man and are asking anyone who recognizes him to contact authorities.
