Savannah Man Arrested in Connection With Fatal June Domestic Stabbing
SAVANNAH, Ga. – A Savannah man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal domestic stabbing that left one man dead and a woman injured last month, according to the Savannah Police Department.
60-year-old Frank Scott was taken into custody on July 16 and charged with murder in the June 30 stabbing. He has been transported to the Chatham County Detention Center.
Officers responded at approximately 10 p.m. on June 30 to the 2200 block of Theresa Drive after receiving reports of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found two victims suffering from stab wounds. An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene, while an adult female was treated and transported to Candler Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators identified Scott as the suspect during the course of the investigation and obtained a murder charge before taking him into custody.
