Eight Arrested, More Than 3 Pounds of Meth Seized in Columbus Drug Investigations

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Eight people were arrested and more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine, seven firearms and thousands of dollars’ worth of illegal drugs were seized following four separate narcotics investigations conducted by the Columbus Police Department.

The department’s Special Operations Unit concluded the investigations between July 14 and July 16, executing multiple search warrants that resulted in 32 felony charges, six misdemeanor charges and two felony probation violation warrants tied to previous drug trafficking convictions.

Investigators seized approximately 1,471 grams, or 3.24 pounds, of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of more than $67,500. Detectives also recovered seven firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun and two firearms with altered or obliterated serial numbers.

Other drugs seized included 3.9 grams of crack cocaine, 74.6 grams of marijuana, 32.1 grams of THC edibles classified as a Schedule I controlled substance, three and one-half Xanax pills, two hydrocodone pills and two Adderall pills.

Among those arrested was 57-year-old Jackie Roberts, who was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine, two counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Terry Littlejohn, 52, faces two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine, four counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, four counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, two counts of Criminal Use of an Article with an Altered Serial Number, Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun and Possession of Drug-Related Objects.

Joseph Tanner, 52, was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule I THC Gummies, Abandonment of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug-Related Objects.

Patrick Edwards, 41, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug-Related Objects, Tampering with Evidence, Obstruction and a Felony Probation Violation warrant.

Waylon Pollock, 34, was charged with Possession of Schedule I, II and IV controlled substances.

Kaycee Scott, 46, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Hydrocodone.

Jonathan Long, 44, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Sequoya Wilson, 33, was arrested on a Felony Violation of Probation warrant.

The Columbus Police Department said the investigations are part of its ongoing efforts to disrupt drug trafficking organizations and reduce violent crime. Officials said additional arrests are possible as the investigations continue.
