Muscogee County Deputies Arrest New Jersey Fugitive Wanted on Armed Robbery Charges
MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Georgia – A fugitive wanted in New Jersey on multiple felony charges has been arrested in Muscogee County following a joint operation between Georgia and New Jersey law enforcement agencies.
According to the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Collaborative Intelligence Group, working in partnership with the New Jersey State Police, located and arrested Trevion Scarbrough on May 27, 2026.
Authorities said Scarbrough was wanted by the New Jersey State Police on outstanding charges of First-Degree Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Terroristic Threats, and Second-Degree Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) executed the felony warrants and took Scarbrough into custody without incident.
Following his arrest, Scarbrough was transported to the Muscogee County Jail, where he is being held pending extradition to New Jersey.
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office said the arrest highlights the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies across state lines.
Officials noted that the agency remains committed to working alongside partner agencies to locate wanted fugitives and enhance public safety throughout the community.
